On February 28, the newly added No. 10 200,000-ton/year cracking furnace of Sino-Korea Petrochemical's ethylene plant was successfully ignited once, and after 5 days of drying, it was officially put into trial production. After the furnace was put into use, Sino-Korea Petrochemical Co., Ltd. expanded the capacity of the ethylene plant to 1.1 million tons/year on the basis of the existing 800,000 tons/year ethylene plant, further increasing the capacity of the ethylene plant. The development has a milestone significance, and it also reflects that my country's ethylene technology has reached the international leading level.
