On the afternoon of March 20, Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Air Liquide Group jointly constructed a new material and new energy integration project with an annual output of 1.75 million tons. The signing ceremony was held.
According to the satellite petrochemical announcement at the signing ceremony on March 20, the new material and new energy integration project plans to invest a total of 11.5 billion yuan, and it is planned to start construction before November 2021 and put into operation before June 2024.
Specific content of the project:
(1) The satellite petrochemical company has a total investment of approximately 10.2 billion yuan, and plans to invest in a new annual production of 800,000 tons of PDH, 800,000 tons of butanol, 120,000 tons of neopentyl glycol and supporting equipment in the area of the Dushan Port District Management Committee. , And make full use of the surplus hydrogen resources to solve the raw material problem of the company's hydrogen energy integration project.
(2) Air Liquide China plans to rely on the company’s abundant hydrogen resources to establish a company in the area of the Dushan Port Management Committee to build hydrogen filling stations and hydrogen liquefaction devices, build a hydrogen energy strategic cooperation ecosystem, and promote hydrogen in the Yangtze River Delta. Energy industry development. In the first phase, a hydrogen filling station with an annual output of 3,000 tons will be constructed, and in the second phase, a liquid hydrogen device and supporting facilities with an annual output of 11,000 tons will be constructed.
It is reported that the project covers an area of about 500 acres. After completion, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 20 billion yuan, an annual tax revenue of about 1.5 billion yuan, and an average tax revenue of more than 3 million yuan per mu.
At the signing ceremony, Pinghu Municipal Party Secretary Qi Hailong said that entering the "14th Five-Year Plan", Pinghu will not only continue to focus on the strategic leading industry of new materials, but also regard the hydrogen energy industry as a key emerging industry for Pinghu. At present, from top to bottom, we are striving to develop the hydrogen energy industry, and Pinghu has good conditions and foundations for the development of the hydrogen energy industry. This time, satellite petrochemical and Air Liquide have joined forces to jointly build a hydrogen energy utilization integration project in the national strategic core area of the Yangtze River Delta for integrated development and Pinghu’s "two seas" advantages, and build an integrated hydrogen energy utilization project, and Pinghu’s industrial positioning The coincidence will surely inject strong impetus for Pinghu to build the "New Material Industrial Base on the North Shore of Hangzhou Bay" and the "China Hydrogen Bay".
According to Gao Jun, vice president of Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical Co., Ltd., since entering Pinghu in 2011, the company has formed a C3 integrated full industrial chain and a fully balanced structure model. In 2020, the satellite petrochemical Pinghu integrated industrial base will overcome the impact of the epidemic, and its output value will remain over 10 billion for two consecutive years; a total of 1.06 billion taxes and fees will be paid throughout the year, an increase of 13% year-on-year. This time, in order to meet the needs of the company's sustainable development, the company chose to continue its investment and construction in Pinghu Dushan Port. In order to actively respond to the country's policy of vigorously developing the hydrogen energy industry and supporting the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and to make full use of hydrogen resources, the group decided to cooperate with Air Liquide to build a hydrogen energy integration project.
Chen Xing, Director of Air Liquide’s Hydrogen Energy Business in China, said bluntly that the investment of US$200 million in the construction of Air Liquide’s Yangtze River Delta Hydrogen Energy Supply Project in Dushan Port was fancy due to the fact that Satellite Petrochemical has a large number of high-quality hydrogen-rich resources.
