Wanhua Chemical (600309) announced on the evening of March 24 that it plans to establish a new joint venture company based on the company’s 80% shareholding and Ningbo Zhongtao Investment Co., Ltd.’s 20% shareholding ratio, and the proposed name "Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) New Materials Co., Ltd.", with a registered capital of 3 billion yuan.

Ningbo Zhongtao is an employee stock company. According to the company's plan, in the future, the petrochemical industry chain will be planned in the east area of Jiangyin Gangcheng Economic Zone, Fujian, and the PDH propane dehydrogenation to propylene and the downstream industry chain of propylene will be initially planned. The establishment of Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) New Materials Co., Ltd. is mainly responsible for the promotion of the East District project.
